Went here on a Saturday evening because it was just around the corner of our holiday home. The setting and decoration inside is a little bit different but nice and comfy. With the latter, we don't have a lot of experience so it is difficult to judge. The Schnitzel was nice: the quality of the meat and the breadcrumbed coating as well: nice crispy and thin. However, the meet was to my liking to thin which meant you didn't taste the meat enough. However, the place is worthwhile to visit especially with the available options on the menu for next time: steaks and a variety of fondus.
A friend and I dined here in September, after a long drive from Calais. It was quaint, small and friendly. The steaks were very well cooked, high quality and great value. Everything is in German, they don't speak English, but that's not a problem. You don't expect English in a typical German village.Food was lovely, good value and served with a smile - and an excellent local German beer. Happy customers!
No cards taken, a disaster in these Covid times stay away !! Food was ok but with v small portions.
