Especially because acquaintances visited this house and made a very positive impression. In the past GINO II was home and you could enjoy Italian cuisine on the grounds and on the terrace. But that's history. Although the new operators could not clearly choose a typical rural kitchen, the concept with steaks and Balkan Grill seems to be good. On this beautiful Thursday the terrace is fully occupied despite the start of the holiday – but there is plenty of space in the spacious restaurant area. We are looking for a table because the services are very busy. Shortly afterwards we are very kindly greeted, the card is handed over, but the drinks requests are not yet asked – this is already positive. The, as usual very extensive map, then naturally offers infinite quantities from the South European cuisine. Until Gyros didn't even know it was in the Balkans. But if it is no longer bad, you will not find a "real" Greek restaurant in the city centre of Bad Gandersheim so you can cover it here. I can live with you. We will add it after a long time, between our drinks were asked, and finally decide for Raznjici for 10.90 € Cevapcici for 8.90€ Balkan plate with liver, gyros, steak and spear for 11.90€ half unbd half (Gyros and grilled cattle liver with roasted onions, with Djuwecreis and Pommes Frites Frites Frites Frites Friteseva The drinks are served very quickly. Unfortunately, the extra promised apple juice is an apple choir – we have to complain. They apologize politely and a short time later we get the desired juice also rich. It is noticeable, and this is quite rare that no salad is given to the dishes. But a salad buffet is available. You have to order it extra. However, we can do so if the rather moderate pricing is to be followed. Since it is very full, we actually expect a very long waiting period. But be disappointed after 20 minutes. Our food is already served. It's very fleeing, just in the little kitchen. And we're not hidden because of our place, which has been served in that meantime. Also remarkable is the very good service that was always in place. Also later during the payment process no long waiting time. The food is served on preheated plates and is hot – great. It can convince us in almost all points. Only the vegetables on the children's plate is extremely faded and does not taste despite the sauce. This remains the only criticism. My grilled liver is wonderfully delicate, even the foods are good edible and not spicy. Enjoy also mild and very tasty Raznjici and Cevapcici. The Pommes are also good. Delicious Zaziki and a pleasant red sauce are served in bowls. The desired mayonnaise is served in bags, but then 0.50€ per piece are due. Let's remember the next visit. To the ambience in the restaurant: what can be enchanted from a small and angled room is already impressive and we like a lot. The chairs are comfortable, the tables are fairly covered. We can see small color differences in ceilings and napkins. The cutlery can be operated well. The glasses are also clean. Also on the toilets we cannot discover great defects, and these are well cleaned. Everything is fine – so it should be. When paying, we can then choose a degistif a very nice gesture! The children get a sucker and are also completely satisfied! FAZIT: a very good offer in the small town of Bad Gandersheim. A house that can safely achieve good visitor numbers with consistent quality, whether the moderate pricing. We can definitely see it again. Clear recommendation!
