View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hotel - Restaurant Adria Kroatien:
It is a reasonably priced Croatian restaurant. Standard menu, čevapčiči, razniči, schnitzel, pommes and the like. Some of the meat was a bit tough and over cooked View all feedback.
My Cevapcici Tour hasn't finished yet. Unfortunately, I don't always manage to write new reviews regularly. Some have remained a little on the track lately, but I praised improvement. Yesterday, I'm getting an important business appointment for 18:30. After Bad Ems and my mood, I got better again, as I thought of the restaurant Adria. Women have been having fun in the Christmas market of our hometown since dark, or they can taste the mulled wine (as I have experienced by mobile phone in the meantime). A helmet that thinks of something bad. Around 19:00, I was already through with my business appointment and directed the Hotel Restaurant Adria Croatia, which has been run by the Bandur operating family for more than 45 years. This restaurant has been so ca. 2x in the year when it results locally. In summer you can also sit and dine in the historic pavilion (which is also visible on the HP) outside next to the restaurant. The restaurant is located in a one-way street, where only 4 parking spaces are located in the restaurant area. However, if you drive towards the Lahn at the crossroads, there are enough parking spaces on the right side opposite the Rewe Markt only 1 to 2 minutes walk. The place is furnished with the typical round arches, but through the pictures on the walls and through the other accessories, you feel right there. The tables are each covered with two fabric tablecloths, a candle, salt pepper shakers and white paper servings. The place was always perfectly well-maintained (even yesterday) and also the men's toilets were picobello clean (no worry, the ladies' toilet I don't visit). I was greeted once again very kindly and was allowed to choose a free table. I was quickly given a menu in leather sheathing, where the typical Croatian classics and various fish, steak and international dishes are listed. My last choice consisted of a Coca Cola 0.4l for 3. € and once the Croatian classic Cevapcici with a slightly modified salad for 10.90€. The Coca Cola was served me well tempered in Windeseile incl. the cutlery. The cutlery is always covered here with the first beverage round for the suitable number of persons. After a short waiting period, my modified salad was served to my satisfaction. The ingredients were fresh and tasty, at the herb salad I missed some of the pep. This not too generous yogurt dressing was, in my opinion, not self-made. After a pleasant waiting period my Cevapcici plate Cevapcici plate was served. On the plate were 7 Cevapcici, Pommes Frites and a sufficient amount of Djuwetsch rice. Furthermore, on an extra plate you get two bowls with 1x Ajvar (just sweet unfortunately not sharp) and 1x served with some sweetish onions. Actually, a great thing, especially since some guests don't like onions or Ajvar, so they can add these two ingredients on the plate themselves if desired (with me, of course, both were empty). The Cevapcici were very tasty and also had a nice knobi note. The Pommes were also not to be criticized and the Djuwetsch rice was not boiled and also tasted very good, but this should have been a bit hotter. Smiling at high level. For the food there are thus today just 4 stars. The staff is constantly striving for the well-being of the guests, also very well advises on wine questions (when they come back to their own at the side table yesterday), is very friendly not so intrusive and always has an eye on the guests. It is sometimes questioned whether everything would be to satisfaction. After dinner, I asked for the bill. I was asked nicely if it could be a cold Sliwowitz or Julischka from the house. Because of the longer journey home, I chose a Julischka. This was then quickly served with a reasonable cash deposit. After payment I was nicely passed and it went well saturated on the approx. 200km long journey home. Conclusion: I have never been disappointed here before and I always like to return here. Friends of the Croatian cuisine can dine deliciously.

Good food lots of choice from local Bavarian Croatian dishes . Friendly staff who had good English vocabulary
There is a wide range of traditional German and Croatian and other Balkan food available at a reasonable price. The cooking is very very good, even if not quite excellent. Lovely selection of reasonably priced wines by the glass (German, Balkan). Sitting outdoors under cover...was lovely on an otherwise hot summer day. The service is personal and friendly
