Weingut Heissler - Bad Dürkheim

I am always searching for the small business stores that provide excellent and friendly service with a great product. Here at the Weingut Heissler you find both. The wine is excellent and for a small price you can try them all. We ended up buying three bottles of different types but I especially liked the Cabernet Sauvignon. But the real charm to this establishment in the friendly service. This town is known for its' wines and sometimes a traveler is not given too much time. Just buy and go routine. We felt like old friends from the moment we stepped in. And on Christmas eve no less. I spoke my best German but come to find out they spoke English as well. No worries here. Please go and enjoy and give them your business. This not the huge Weingut that is all touristy. This is down home goodness. Great wines.

I don't drink wine; but I can tell you that Heissler winery has the best grape juice I know so that the wine tastes... Otherwise great people, great ambience and drinks from their own production. What else do you want? Try it!
