Right in the center of Bad Durkheim, on the Römerplatz, you can find a branch of the bakery chain Barbarossa Brotkultur. This bakery chain operates many branches between Frankfurt and Kaiserslautern. It is a typical German "Konditorei", where you can get your bakery products at the counter for taking home, or sit down at the back of the shop with coffee and pastry. Right in the center of Bad Durkheim, on the Römerplatz, you can find a branch of the bakery chain Barbarossa Brotkultur. This bakery chain operates many branches between Frankfurt and Kaiserslautern. It is a typical German "Konditorei", where you can get your bakery products at the counter for taking home, or sit down at the back of the shop with coffee and pastry. There is no table service, so ordering is at the counter. As the space at the counter is rather cramped and take-out orders are also processed there, the ordering and obtaining of the coffee and pastry is rather hectic here. However, when the good fight was won, we enjoyed the coffee and cake, because the quality of German pastry is rather predictable. Always tasty and in large portions.

Since the place at the counter is rather cramped and pick-up orders are also processed there, the ordering and extraction of coffee and pastries is rather hectic. However, when the good fight was won, we enjoyed the coffee and cake because the quality of the German pastries is quite predictable. Always delicious and in large portions.
