Ordered fried Chicken breast and thought I was getting a fried chicken Breast especially for $16 bucks.. waitress comes over with our plate and the Chicken is flatted as thin as they could get .. It had no taste actually there was no taste to it because the meat was gone.. Our first time going was Just Amazing but this has stopped us and we will NOT be back.. The waitress at the bar wasn't too busy when we came in and waited on us with drinks and took our order but when guys walked in to sit at the bar we received no refills or anything else from her, We had to ask for another waitress for our ticket and other things.. just Rude.. NO tip for her!!
Before reading the review, please see the owners response below. His response speaks volumes. It also means I am probably right. Their menu items likely consist of mostly frozen food that they heat up and serve. They probably create very little of their menu in house. And Mark, no problem, I won't go back. Bag. Most of the food I've ordered here taste like it came in on a food truck and all they do is drop it in some hot oil. I'm not sure what food service they are using, but they should consider a change. As I write this review, I see they have a 4.3 average. I don't see how. I'm not big on boiled seafood, so I've tried other menu items. Fried fish and shrimp, and even the steak. Today, I tried fried mushrooms as an appetizer. They were inedible. Taking the thick coating off revealed a shriveled up mushroom with a terrible odor. The mushrooms appeared like they were just about to go bad, so someone quickly sold them off to a food prep vendor for frying purposes. As a meal, I ordered shrimp and catfish. the catfish filet was so thin it didn't fry well and ended up terribly dry. As I side, I ordered okra. Again, just okra out of a bag. Literally, HEB sells a better okra in their frozen food section. Today was my 3rd attempt to find something worthwhile here. It is my last. The food has been consistently below average. The service is decent. I will say that my wife and my daughter enjoy the boiled items. Primarily, shrimp and crab. So, I've been going back just to please them. No more! The fried shrimp on my plate was OK. On a previous visit, I ordered a med well steak. What a received was a flavorless, dried out piece of meat. Last, the prices are significant, considering what you get.
I had a deeply disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share. Upon entering the establishment, I was not greeted, acknowledged, or offered any assistance. Despite waiting patiently and walking past multiple staff members, my presence seemed to go unnoticed. However, just moments later, a white couple entered, and they were greeted warmly and promptly attended to. This stark contrast in treatment left me feeling hurt, unwelcome, and dismissed. Businesses should strive to treat all customers equally and with respect, regardless of their race or appearance. Unfortunately, this experience has left me questioning whether they truly values diversity and inclusivity. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and implements necessary changes to ensure all customers feel valued and respected.

Brisket nachos were great. Good tasting chips, cheese didn't get hard like usual, tasted great. Brisket sandwich was good. BBQ sauce was good, meat was tender. Drinks, ice tea, was a little pricey but we will definitely return. A little gravel in the pot holes would be a plus too. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
