Pizzeria Trattoria Cistella - BACENO

I visited this location with 3 friends of mine, the had the most amazing dinner that we could possibly find in the mountains. We met with the husband of the owner on the top of Lake Davero and he kindly recommend us to visit this amazing restaurant. The food is simply fantastic and the atmosphere is lovely, if i ever pass of Croveo again I'll definitly visit again this little gem.

Non si può dire che si mangia male in questo ristorante, ma non si può nemmeno dire che è eccezionale, tutto nella norma dal menu alle tariffe. Il personale è molto gentile, disponibile e accurato, erano molto attenti alle persone allergiche al nostro tavolo. Nel complesso un'esperienza non male, consiglio gli gnocchi alle ortiche, davvero buoni. La carne con polenta non è niente di speciale.

Il ristorante offre un comodo ampio parcheggio pubblico nelle vicinanze. Tutto è delizioso: l'antipasto di formaggi misti (6 gnomi all'ortopedia), i gnocchi di ossolani con porcini (9) e tra i dolci consiglio la crema di mascarpone e l'amarena. Gli altri dolci erano nella media. Il servizio è ottimo: giovane, veloce e gentile con specialità nella descrizione dei vari piatti. L'acqua viene servita in bottiglie di vetro. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è buono. Consigliato.

Have now stayed here a couple of time en route to Alpe Devero. Both times the food/wine/accommodation was very good and resaonably priced. Recommended.

The owner is very welcoming and kind. We stayed in this b&b for one night and dined here several times, winter and summer. Always excellent quality of dishes and service. The rooms are beautiful, clean and very typical for this area of the Alps. The breakfast is an amazing treat here, with a wide range of delicious local products; honey ossolana, ham, cheese, butter, jam, bread and croissants, yogurt. We definetly going to return here!
