I've been visiting this restaurant for a few years now. The food is decent, but I'm not particularly impressed. The tacos could use some improvement, although they do offer a good variety, and their meats are well-seasoned. However, the presentation and packaging could use some work—they're lacking and sometimes unreliable. Still, considering the price, I'd keep coming back as long as I'm able to enjoy the experience... What User doesn't like about Mamey Mexican Taqueria:
This place really doesn't have much to offer. Taco Bell serves better tacos, and that's not saying much. If you're in search of quality tacos, I recommend looking elsewhere! View all feedback.
Nice people, that's almost enough for me. What makes it is the food! Very good food at a good price. A few tables to sit at and some Mexican music playing softly makes for a nice inexpensive place to eat, everything is fresh. The only downside is theydon't have a liquor license so no beer or margarita's. That's why I left off one star. However a good bar right next door with ahappy hour. I suggest going to the bar for happy hour Margaritas and then Mameys for food. Enjoy
Been coming here for a few years now. Food is ok. Not impressed. Their tortas could be better but they have a good selection and their meats are seasoned very well. Presentation and packaging is lacking and faulty but for the price I would keep coming aslong as I can dine in (the way they pack makes food turn soggy right away). Fries are good but must be had immediately.
I love this place. My boyfriend and I find this place a year ago. The carnitas tacos are the best! Also the variety of soft drinks that they have are good. The service is really good, too. The lady who works in front is the sweetest person. The priceshere are very reasonable. If you are looking for a good place and authentic Mexican food, you must to try this restaurant.
The tacos are amazing, especially the pork. Some of the other sandwiches are just average. The chips and guacamole aren't very impressive, and the portion of guacamole is too small. I visit this place regularly and will keep coming back.
Got the steak enchiladas with red sauce. The meat, beans and tortillas were fine. The red sauce tasted like spaghettio’s sauce and they used crumbled Parmesan for the cheese. I’ve never seen anyone use Parmesan cheese like you’d find over pasta or some other Italian dish over an enchilada. Bizarre.
