Customers have praised the Sunday roast and the variety of options available, with particular highlights being the desserts. The homemade dishes, including beef and ale pie, have received rave reviews, and the portion sizes are generous. The pub's historical setting in a quaint village adds to its appeal, with locals frequenting the establishment regularly. The pub has also received accolades for its great service, value for money, and lovely garden. While some reviews mention the need for more staff during busy times, the majority of customers have had exceptional dining experiences at The Six Bells and highly recommend a visit.

Really warm, cosy, original pub with super good menu and excellent food and really speedy and nicely quirky service. Big thank you.
I thought that I knew most of the pubs in my area of this part of Suffolk having lived here for over fourteen years but stumbled across this one in the middle of nowhere. It was lunchtime and there was only one car parked outside which I thought didn't augur well. But on opening the door we could see many people occupying the place and their was a nice vibe. We were lucky enough to find a table right by the very warm and inviting log fire. Our food order was taken quickly and it soon arrived on our table look scrumptious. A very large obviously home-made pastry pie with the pastry complete surrounding a dark, melting, pull apart lamb feast which was delicate and delicious with an unctuous dark gravy sitting on a bed of light mash. We both thought that there was no way that we would do these plates justice but slowly we demolished the walls and the crusty pastry top and eventually cleared our plates. A good pint or two of beer too to wash it all down. We shall return and bring others to this lovely pub.
Amazing food, lovely setting, friendly staff and value for money. We've eaten here several times now and never been disappointed. Just a Sunday roast to try!
