We were welcomed warmly and served a delicious br... read more I had a delightful post-lockdown experience at Mander auctions, followed by a spontaneous visit to Coffee Box. We were welcomed warmly and served a delicious breakfast with excellent coffee and juices. To top it off, we picked up a box of delectable cakes to enjoy at home. It was a truly enjoyable post-lockdown treat. Thank you to the lovely ladies at Coffee Box.

This is a wonderful independent coffee shop in small Suffolk village that we found ourselves walking past at the right time of the day. This was a real find. Th... read more This is a wonderful independent coffee shop in small Suffolk village that we found ourselves walking past at the right time of the day. This was a real find. The shop is light and airy, looks attractive from the outside and is clean, tidy and well decorated within. Two friendly cheerful ladies were serving and made us welcome whilst engaging with others who were clearly known locals. There was a limited (not a criticism) of wonderful cakes (presumably home-made – we didn’t think to ask) from which we were eventually able to make a choice. They all looked good The cakes were wonderful, the coffee lovely and served nice and hot. Prices were reasonable. In the past we have chosen to start a walk in this location, not returning until later in the day. The temptation will now be to start elsewhere in the future so as to be passing by at coffee time. I’m relatively certain this is going to happen.

Perfection can certainly turn up in the strangest of places , what more can I say than perfect, coffee and food is absolutely delightful, the general layout of... read more Perfection can certainly turn up in the strangest of places , what more can I say than perfect, coffee and food is absolutely delightful, the general layout of the coffeebox is charming in the traditional Suffolk style “shabby chic” with a twist , the cake selection is to die for delicious is an understatement, coffee is rich and full bodied and not watered down vomit , service from the staff is more than a ten out of ten .
