Personnel was super kind, f... read more Very nice bar with beautyful view on the city of Amsterdam. We had an Aperol Spritz, it was small but done in the right ptoportions. Personnel was super kind, for instance they were almost closing and so they told us asking if it was fine. (Amsterdam closes shops and restaurants so soon, btw; at 10 restaurants already clean up and shops have been already closed for hours, around 18:30 . The only things we were wondering wether we liked it or not, was the arms and heads and hands coming out of the ceiling. But that is a matter of taste.

They do sharing plates so get a bunch of small dishes to split. We got the beet and burata dish, the eggplant dish, some fries, and the vegetarian bitterballen. The eggplant could have been cooked better but we loved the rest of the food we got. I got a Japanese gin fizz which was fruity and tasty, and my friend got some red wine which was good too. We went at night so the view wasn't as amazing as when it's light out but it was still fun to go on the terrace.

Super friendly staff (incl... read more Visited the Canvas stayed at the Volks for the sole reason to spend the night dancing to Dicky Trisco.....and was not dissapointed!!! Super friendly staff (including doormen who don't always have a sense of humour), an excellent vibe and a fantastic venue to dance your socks off....Will definitely keep my eye on this venue for future events.....Well done guys it was frickin awesome....thanks heaps
