The couple that runs the restaurant welcomes customers in the warmest way.They speak a very good English and communication is never an issue.We visited the plac... read more The couple that runs the restaurant welcomes customers in the warmest way.They speak a very good English and communication is never an issue.We visited the place three times in the last year and a half and it has been always a delight to try out their culinary art.In my experience it's one of the highest quality, traditional Swiss restaurant.At the same time they really know how to cook many varieties of meat, so American meat specials are something to try.Quality of the ingredients and the presentation of the dishes has always been at the best I could tell.Prices are not low for international travellers, but living in Switzerland since four years, my wife and I came back a few times, and many more we will.Quality/price ratio and loveliness of the owners make Moosrank one of our preferred restaurants in Switzerland.

For what we got, I did feel the prices were a bit on the h... read more This small restaurant (about 20 seats) with easy parking has personal friendly service and good food. For what we got, I did feel the prices were a bit on the high side, even for Zug, I had veal with asparagus which was part of their seasonal menu. It was well prepared, presented and tasty. They have a nice selection of Swiss and foreign beers and home-made non-alcoholic drinks. The deserts were good as well.
