Was Michael Donelson at Aztec a mag?
This local restaurant is fantastic, offering delicious home-cooked meals! The menu has a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We were pleased to see that dinner options were still available when we visited. Some of the items on the menu seemed a bit pricey for the portion size, which was a bit of a letdown. The music was a bit too loud for us to easily converse with our group, but overall we had... View all feedback.

What Octopus Cupcake dislikes about Aztec:
We ate at this restaurant two years ago and promised we would never come back. Welllllll, we tried again and honestly it 's still plain bad. The food is all canned, and store bought. This is the only local, hometown restaurant I 've ever been to that doesn 't actually make their food. That 's kinda the whole point of good ol boy places like this, that the food is absolutely killer and homemade. When the waitress fina... View all feedback.

The meal consisted mostly of potatoes with very few vegetables and no meat. My husband and daughter did not receive the bacon they ordered, and my son-in-law's dish was undercooked. The waitress seemed more interested in flirting with other customers than refilling our glasses. Overall, the experience was very disappointing.

When they read reviews to decide to go here or not. they are not missing anything when they decide to happen. safe, the old building is sweet on the outside, the inner is clean and spacious, and the waiting staff are great but they mainly go to a restaurant for eating. eating is absolutely terrible from looking to taste. we decided to stop here for lunch and ordered south of the border

I went to the Aztec Restaurant expecting a good breakfast, but I was disappointed. I ordered the fried hunch steak for $12.99, but instead received a tough, fake meat patty with overcooked hash browns. The waiter said I would receive 3 wurst patties as a side, but I only got 2 and they were cold. The total bill for two people came out to $36. I would not recommend this restaurant as the food was coarse and unappetizing. Look elsewhere for a better dining experience.

On our way to the scenic ruins, we were greeted by a charming atmosphere and friendly staff at the restaurant. The breakfast was served hot and delicious, with cookies that were generously sized and tasty. The pancakes were also excellent. There were plenty of parking spaces available as well.

I went to try this place never have been before and I WILL never go back ordered the cowboy steak only to find out 10 mins later they didn't have it so I ordered a fish and mash taters with gravy and roll only to get told no they can't do it so I ordered a melt sandwich and side of taters with roll ONLY to be brought the burnt fish and taters I swear you can't fix stupid nor can the staff be any more rude I WILL not recommend anyone to eat there nor will I go back and the biggest insult Is the food over priced yuck, sorry corn dog minis shouldn't be a cut up deep fried corn dog! And the staff need to learn how to be a lot more nicer then rude!

Aztec Restaurant, once a local favorite, has received mixed reviews recently. While it boasts a charming ambiance and attentive service, patrons have noted a decline in food quality and portion sizes. Many experienced disappointing meals, with cold or poorly cooked dishes that failed to live up to nostalgia. However, some visitors still rave about the home-cooked feel and variety on the menu, especially for breakfast and comfort food. The standout options, like Biscuits and Gravy, continue to please, making it a place that retains a loyal customer base despite recent inconsistencies. Overall, it's a gamble worth considering.

Amazing food! The restaurant looks very basic compared to other places. This place is authentic and delicious. Everything is made from scratch. I had tacos on fry bread and they were delicious. I also recommend the fried green beans. Family friendly. Parking: Free parking right in front of the restaurant Kid-friendliness: Has a kids menu. Family atmosphere

Well, apparently the coolers don’t work, it is super hot inside. The biscuit we ordered had green mold all over it, pancake was undercooked, cinnamon roll was over cooked. Generally a horrible experience. Aztec is in dire need of quality restaurants.

A lower end restaurant with some great food. Our waitress was awesome and the prices were alright. I got the Southwest Sub and I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I'm not usually a fan of Mexican food. The fries were good too.

I haven't been to this restaurant in 5 years. The portion sizes have gotten smaller compared to my last visit. The service was good, but the servings were small. I would rate the food a 1, service a 4, and the atmosphere a 3.

Excellent food and service. We dined in for breakfast and the price per person ranged from $10 to $20. The food was rated 4 out of 5, the service a perfect 5, and the atmosphere a 4. We highly recommend trying the Biscuits and Gravy.

Server was sweet young girl who gave good service. However, I had a burger that was undercooked, with limp old lettus on a bun that seemed like the cheap kind you would get at Dollar general. The fries were plain cheap fries from a frozen bag. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2
