Ebi Sushi - Azogues

This restaurant is located in a very small corner and it is easy to miss among the streets; but believe me, they have the best sushi in the city of Cuenca. It was definitely worth the effort my wife and I put into finding it. We have visited many sushi restaurants in the city of Cuenca, many very flashy and elegant places, but we had not been able to find one that satisfied our tastes like this small space we found at Ebi Sushi. The chef at Ebi Sushi greeted us warmly and I congratulate them on such delicious creations. I took their business card to order for delivery, as they also deliver to homes. My wife and I loved the sushi: the "favorito" and "bonsai" rolls are ones you will not regret trying. 5 out of 5, the best of the best!

I ordered the vegetarian sushi with avocado added and it was delicious. I also requested extra ginger and got a generous amount. I deducted one star because I thought the waitress had mentioned I would receive three sushi rolls, but only two were brought to me. Additionally, the $8 price seemed a bit high for the portion size. I had trouble understanding the explanation when I asked why there were only two rolls, as my Spanish is limited. It would have been helpful if the menu included pictures.

The service was quick and efficient. The quality of the sushi was average.

Very slow. They prioritize Uber eats orders, so if you go in person it can take a while. We waited an hour for our order and were late to our show as a result.
