Aysgarth Falls

Was there with my man and our dog at the beginning and end of 5 day hike on the herriot way. eating was very good as the beer. the wine list was cheap, the room immaculate and comfortable, friendly and helpful owners and staff and the location is great. would be very happy to stay there again.

Just stayed there for the second time. It truly is a fantastic place to stay and eat. The friendliness of the staff, the quality of the rooms, food and service cannot be beaten. It is quite simply an amazing place to stay.

Spent the night here with my husband and 2 daughters. The family room was fantastic the girls were delighted to have a room of their own. Location, staff, service, scenery and food were all excellent. Highly recommend.

This hotel looked after all my family and friends exceptionally well during my wedding over the Bank Holiday weekend. I stayed elsewhere but came to eat for two breakfasts and dinners. *All* the staff were FABULOUS I don’t know everyone’s names but special thanks to Debbie for talking horses with me and looking after all my family and friends so well! Thank you to Darren as well for helping me find “parking” for my wedding horse and carriage, it was exactly what we needed. Also thank you to all the catering staff for the amazing food I had the lamb rump twice it was so good! Fantastic rooms as well in a stunning location. Everyone had an amazing time and I can’t wait to come back and eat with you again. No one wanted to leave! Can’t recommend enough.

We booked a table for Sunday lunch as we visited Bainbridge to watch the vintage cars that travelled from beamish museum as we had a meal last year. We can't fault it the lunch was lovely the service staff was brilliant . Nothing was a bother placing us on a lovely big table as there was 4adults a 3yr old a 1yr old .i highly recommend it will definitely be back if we are ever in this area again x
