The Secret Garden - Ayr

We enjoyed a delightful lunch at The Secret Garden, which truly lived up to its name. The hidden terrace garden by the River Doon is stunning. The service was outstanding, and we appreciated the wide variety of food and drink options available, especially the numerous choices for vegetarians. Thank you—we'll definitely be back!

This little café is truly a hidden gem. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. We made a reservation in the morning, and we’re really glad we did because it helped us avoid a long wait when we were ready to eat. We tried the salmon salad and a ham and cheese panini, both were fresh and delicious. For dessert, I highly recommend the fudge scone—just make sure you have room for it! We will definitely be coming back.

Although the exterior of the restaurant didn't catch my eye, what a delightful surprise inside! We visited as a group of seven, including three children, for breakfast. The menu featured a variety of options like rolls, bagels, English muffins, and waffles, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which is great. The staff was friendly and professional, enhancing our experience. There was a good selection of food and drinks available. I'm definitely looking forward to returning, perhaps to try the desserts next time, as they looked absolutely stunning!

Excellent caffe, personally love it, as the garden with the dog is easily accessible. they treat the dog almost as good as the people. highly recommended

A great place. worth a visit. great value for money and an excellent selection of high quality food and drinks. all staff are very friendly and nothing is too much annoyed. very recommended the hot chocolate.
