This bakery is lovely, with friendly staff who were understanding when my card didn't work and allowed me to take the goods and pay later. It's rare to find such generosity. The food selection is great, and everything was served nice and hot. While it may be a bit more expensive than Greggs, the quality is definitely worth it - no burnt or cold food here. What psychgazzusuk doesn't like about Wenzels Bakery:
Sausage roll was decent a solid 8/10 But the reason to even bother doing this was the god awful steak pasty absolutely disgusting, no real meat or rotator more like baby food piped into a pastry and cooked never buy a Cornish type pasty from these it was rubbish 1/0 View all feedback.
Wonderful food, with friendly and attentive staff. The dishes are always served hot and the coffee is excellent. Definitely the best bakery in Woking, with staff willing to go above and beyond for their customers. A must-visit when in the area, you won't be disappointed.

I had never been to a Wenzel's before, but there is one directly across from my workplace. I decided to try their sausage roll, but I regretted it immediately. It was the worst sausage roll I have ever tasted and I felt frustrated that I wasted £1.10 on it. It had no flavor and the sausage filling didn't resemble actual sausage at all - it was just mush. I much prefer Greggs and will not be returning to Wenzel's.
We stopped in Aylesbury en route to Norfolk, and needed some food. My children and I got well filled ham and cheese rolls from Wenzels. There was a good section in the shop, and the cakes looked delicious, though we did not try them. Good value and tasty sandwiches. They need to do gluten free options though, as my husband has a gluten intolerance and could not eat anything from there.
