The Dog House Inn - Aylesbury Vale

Not a great pub if you're looking for something else that spuck and sawdust. it is a typical local pub that appears insulted when someone comes new through that.

For value, quality and welcome, we love it here. we moved into the juli 2017 and began to visit the doghouse almost immediately, and took our (then) 4 months old baby with us. He is now 13 months and the personal is so wonderful and close with him (and us) as they then chat and play time (especially for sure that he is a little in love to emily and jade). the stairs at the entrance cannot be ideal, but we have the feeling that they are worth the light inconvenience. the renovations have come to a crowd, we cannot wait to see the finished look. as a (lightly stereotypical) northern last, on our first visit I asked for a newcastle brown ale (like most southern pubs, they do not store), but as a good place offered them to order it safe enough, it was in the next week and was quite a lot since every week. we order regularly eat (even if we have just caught a few for a quick drink), while in the regular wait a bit, we have always found that it is worth (my personal fave is the steak and ale shortcrust pie). like most pubs, the experience they have is significantly influenced by the time/day they visit. we enjoy the relative hubbub of a Friday/Saturday night enough noise to have a private conversation, but not too much to force them to yell at all night. the natives are sweet and will have a bit of sharpeners with us (and do not cast them judge our wise if we are still with the baby in the past 9pm). we enjoy it especially when the renter in and has control over the game list. it may not be everyone's cup tee while the renovations take place, but we enjoyed knowing the personal and the love that we get to see the changes first hand. we are proud to support our local community and look forward to developing it.

Absolutely fabulous 20 people for birthday meal inviting and great service beautiful waitresses fantastic eating real home cooking would not have done enough for us will definitely recommend wonderful eating real home cooking.

We have been coming with employees and eating excellent for years. I always feel like her hospitable family, who randomly has a bar in her dining room lol. always happy staff with good banter.

We often come to the doghouse for a fast drink, but also have often eaten there and it was always amazing! Yesterday we came as a party of 8 not booked and we were so well looked around!
