Very disappointing left message to make one dish with chilli mushroom chow mien. Tasteless and few mushrooms what were there were old looking, small and the dish had no flavour but came with a pot of raw chilli. the chicken dish I specifically asked for no veg or onions and it came with. The rice had burnt bits of something in it. The satay sauce side dip was a thick dollop of nastiness. Avoid considering the reviews was surprised two meal could be so awful!

We have consistently used Shanghai for a year now since moving into our house, and have honestly always enjoyed it every time. We order online and the delivery is always on or before the time stated, with the driver being really polite. The food is always hot and delicious. Anything salt and pepper is never sweaty and the crispy chilli beef is always crispy. Winner in our eyes! Definitely the best Chinese takeaway in Aylesbury for consistency.

We frequently order Chinese food from this restaurant because it is consistently delicious. I would have given it a higher rating, but one time an item was missing and resolving the issue was difficult. I appreciate how the menu categorizes dishes by their style, such as yellow bean sauce, for each meat/fish option, allowing for unique and interesting choices. Just to clarify, this restaurant is for takeout only.

Absolutely atrocious customer service! I am totally horrified!!! There was 2 items missing from our order, we called up to ask where they were and the person on the phone was so rude, shouting and swearing down the phone when all we were l, was polite and asking about theissing items. We weren 't charged for the items so we asked to pay for them. The delivery driver turned up and refused to let us pay card or over the phone. We called the restaurant whilst the driver was at the door and their response was we don 't deliver to your area and hung up. The driver was really rude saying things like he doesn 't get paid enough for this. In the end we had to go in to the shop to actually recieve our original items! When we explained what had happened we were told that The delivery driver had said to them that we refused to pay at the door which is untrue . We were then told we would have to wait a further 15 minutes for the delivery driver to arrive to have the items that he had in his car! We explained that we weren 't happy with that as it would be cold as it had been 10 minutes since he had driven away from our home.The rudeness I have experienced from them this evening has changed my opinion on them completely! My family have been using them for 15 years and it 's safe to say tonight was the last time we ever order from them ever again!
