Coffee#1 Buckingham - Aylesbury Vale

Prioritizing quantity over quality? We went to this restaurant and ordered coffee and a tea cake. The coffee was oversized and extremely weak (more like hot milk) and the tea cake was unusually large, comparable to a dinner plate. The size was absurd and even sharing it between two people was too much. Why can't these establishments focus on serving higher quality food in reasonable portion sizes instead of contributing to the obesity crisis plaguing the country? We were very disappointed.

This cafe is wonderful, and we frequent it often. The atmosphere is lovely and bustling. It's the kind of place where everyone feels like a friend. They are dog friendly and have delicious cakes.

I popped into Coffee #1 and was incredibly disappointed. One person behind the counter and one doing very little (possibly clearing tables). When I sat down, I was shocked that the place was filthy. It looked as if nobody had cleaned in ages. This was only minor compared with the hygiene in the toilet which, going by the grime, hadn’t been cleaned in weeks! Absolutely no excuse for a filthy floor, dirty bins and a revolting basin. Surely they should be cleaned daily and checked throughout the day. If the public side is this dirty, you must question how clean the service area is! This really isn’t good enough Coffee #1!!

Just received the most awful service … clearly this coffee shop couldn’t care less that there are much better coffee shops in Buckingham with MUCH better service … the person in the till was beyond rude … we won’t be visiting again
