I'll add my hat to the ring. Five-star burger, with beef from nearby Blood Farm, shoestring garlic parm fries cooked absolutely perfectly, with savory garlic oil and real shaved parm. Outstanding beer tap selections, and the most cheerful and evening-brightening service one could ask for in the form of the bartender Desiree. I only wish I could have stayed longer! What M C doesn't like about Carlin's:
Food was good but some weird thing happened when we asked for more salsa with our order I could hear the cook YELLING at the waitress about the salsa she had to come tell us they were out of salsa which is hard to believe since tortilla chips are one of their few apps that they have and since it's homemade maybe they were out of tomatoes????? But I don't like the fact that the cook is allowed to treat the waitress li... View all feedback.

A 2 hour drive home, alas, does not lend itself to lingering over another beer. I will probably never find myself in this town again, but if I do, I know where I am eating.
Still relatively new to town, so my wife and I are still in the process of finding new places to become our go-to 's . We tried Carlin 's for the first time a few weeks ago and it was great! We thought for sure we found a diamond in the rough. Unfortunately ordered take-out again tonight and it was a vastly different experience. Despite ordering the same thing as before (Buffacue Boneless Wings Garlic Parm Fries), the same food that was so fresh and delicious a few weeks ago this time totally underwhelmed and quite frankly tasted more like leftovers that were re-heated. Additionally, my wife 's salad was missing ingredients listed on the menu, and received no dressing. Like I said, our first take out with them was excellent, but this time really poor. I realize everyone has a bad night once in a while, so we are likely to give them one more shot down the road, but far less convinced that they 'll become one of our regulars after tonight 's experience.
This isn't the old Carlin's. They have a decent menu, craft beers, and friendly staff. Since they've reopened, they've gone to great lengths to make it a respectable place, and it's working. The food is great, the menu, although limited, has some great items, the place is clean and the staff friendly.
Let's be honest here. Business sucks right now. Place used to be packed even though it was considered a borderline sketchy place. Here's the secret.. change the name.. boom problems solved
