What Philippine Bodin doesn't like about Entre Lacs et Volcans:
we had eaten there several times, and there quite average the cold entrance, the main dish too, the cold plates, and the small carrots and a brin of broccoli accompanying the small thigh of poultry c was a little empty, really disappointed as much as I had brought three potential customers! We had the pleasure of meeting Serge, a very kind and helpful gentleman, who helped us greatly while we were in the middle of a several-day hike. Located near the GR trails and the lake, it is an ideal place for those looking for a little comfort during a hike or even for a short vacation. The small restaurant with its bucolic terrace adds a pleasant touch to the whole. The customers we encountered were very friendly. A big thank you to Serge for the water, the battery recharge, and the sandwiches (which were delicious by the way). We won't soon forget you!

Fantastic welcome to everyone and especially hikers. It's a family business and the lady welcomed us warmly, concerned that we were wet and muddy. Her husband the Chef did a vegetarian Truffade just for us. The room was lovely, recently refurbished, very comfortable bed and spacious ensuite bathroom, lovely views of the lake and quiet too. They readily compromised on the time for breakfast the next day to 7:45, which we were grateful for. The chef was very welcoming at breakfast and the pique nique he had prepared copious. Highly recommended.
We came to dinner in this restaurant with our teenagers after a big day of hiking and we came there especially for the truffle we had warmly recommended. This is obviously what we all chose (menu frometon = truffade dessert for 19 euros). The service was very friendly. We have been served quickly.For 4 people, truffles (speciality of cheese and potatoes) arrive in a skillet, each of which uses a large wooden spoon. a meat plate (country leg and sausage) including three small salad leaves, is served to each. We found the truffle really excellent (sums of gratined land, tasteful cheese but not strong at all). But, as it was the main dish and we had a lot of **** in the day, we were hungry (a hunger of mountaineers for a dish of mountaineers what!)... or we found that the pane, for 4 people, was really small. The salad, too, really made figurative: a real green salad, more than two or three pieces of leaves would have been welcome.For dessert, nothing to say: classic but good cream burned. Go for the truffle, really extra, but not if you're with hungry sports teenagers.
Nice waiter, relaxed frame, standard food. We're doing good at home. it doesn't give us the answer to come back
