Lovely crepes on a petit plate but thick and full of taste. Inside is a lovely home environment to enjoy your food they offer salsa crepes burgers and loads more. I recommend or cochelet View all feedback.
What Clark Robel doesn't like about Creperie Le Cochelet:
The crêpes were not the best we tasted, the filling is too much but if you are very hungry it is ok. Not the 'Breton style' though. The atmosphere is nice, cosy place. View all feedback.
Nice little place in the centre of town. Friendly and helpful staff and good food. Good wine list.
You know how you feel when you stumble on a gem. This small but perfectly formed creperie in the centre of the Champagne village of Ay. Mum in the kitchen while son is out front of house. The two work well together as the place was about three quarters full when we were there. With it’s typical menu and the addition of a couple of bulkier staples, perfect for those who want to indulge just a little more.Great food, excellent value for money and good, service
We visited when staying in Ay for a late Sunday lunch and were made very welcome. Food is simple but fresh and well prepared Salade paysane very substantial and also very tasty. Between part of 5 we tried crepes and other salads also and all were well received. Will go again before we leave Ay
I've had the worst crêpes of my life there. My friend and I both ordered the mushroom and emmenthal crêpes: this huge crêpe appeared with way too much béchamel sauce which was too thick. In that glue like white blob were a few mushrooms that came out of a can.The green salad was OK and the dressing was nice but there was too much of it so the salad was soggy. The only reason I gave it 2 star and not only one is because the family that runs it were very nice and the service was very good. The place was small and quaint .... too bad about the food.
