The cafe aside, Ka Uri has a fascinating display of Maori crafts made from 40000-year-old kauri logs unearthed from anaerobic bogs. My phone pictures don't do justice to the beautiful iridescent finish on the larger pieces. There's also a spiral staircase INSIDE an ancient kauri trunk! Service: 5

The most affordable and delicious breakfast in a while!! Coffee was spot on and I will be back when I'm up there next!! Everyone received their mains to our table then my main came to the table as multiple side dishes and were placed all over the table and no one knew who 's they were an assumed they were side dishes to their mains so were eaten and so I never received my main!! It was a mistake so thats ok i asked for a refund which was given then they asked for the refund back because the food was delivered to the table just not as it should of been. I refused to give the refund back and so they happily took money back from my 80 year old grandfather who 's just had a stoke and heart surgery. This place is no longer a regular and I 'll share my experience with everyone I speak to.
