A lovely setting with a great view of Lac Gruyere and on a day luckily enough to sit outside. We had the menu...de jour which was a very reasonable price but still very tasty......the full menu also looked very appetising. So together with excellent and friendly service, we had a great meal. The one thing we would like to be improved is the seating the tables are a little bit too close together, a little more privacy would further...enhance the great overall experience. We stayed overnight (quiet, comfortable room), and had breakfast there too the breakfast was good, though the selection was limited there were only very few guests, so this is understandable. Overall, we had a nice time there, and do not miss to visit the village up at Gruyere Castle !

The view is still spectacular but the service level has dropped dramatically. I will give it one more shot but...I will not hold my breath!!!

Ask for the high cuisine restaurant as the restaurant also has a brassierie. Apart from the beautiful meals the restaurant serves, the restaurant...also has a magnificent view and has a very romantic athmosphere!
