Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Avondale

This is one of the best family meals I think we have ordered. We had the brisket and pulled pork. Bother were smokey and delicious. We went with the classic sauce which was very good. Tried to sweet as well which was also enjoyable. The Cole slaw and potato salad were fresh and tasty. The beans were really awesome and definitely paired well. There are only a couple true BBQ choices around I I think you definitely cannot go wrong here. Oh yeah make sure you grab a Blondie and a slice of pecan pie!

BOMB !! 2nd time here we had another extremely delicious experience ! You are greated with a welcome in when you walk through the doors , they have a nice decir I receicved great customer Service , Great Job Dickies I will be making this a regular Spot !

Staff are nice but Mr. or Ms. Manager, please tell me how old these beans are? No juice and it's dry. Feel like sitting there for at least two days!? Don't you think?

5 star for the effort of the staff alone. We walked in 3/26 at 6:30. We were the only ones in line, 3 staff. They immediately let us know they are hit hard with online orders currently, she showed be a stack of 6-8 orders. After about 15 minutes they stopped filling those and worked us in. They were out of wings. We had pulled pork and brisket. Both meats were not hot, lukewarm. They tasted ok though. The sauces were ????! Their ice cream machine was empty, so that was a disappointment to our kids. What could of been a 2 star experience for us and probably should of been given their workload and short staffed, because they were honest and still maintaining composure, even the food wasn?t 5 star I still give them a 5 for their effort.

I have visited Dickey's locations in the past and have always had better service and better food. When we arrived at this location, the staff kept us waiting for about 10-15 minutes just to take our order. When our food finally arrived, it was cold. Additionally, the self-serve barbecue sauces were all out, which is a main attraction of this place. I had talked this place up to my family, who were visiting for the first time, and they left with a very negative impression. I was extremely disappointed with the experience.
