I was pleasantly surprised to find that my order was correct and the staff was friendlier than before. Since returning, I have found Bowen to be very courteous and respectful. In my opinion, Del Tacos food is significantly better than their competitors. So many items are made fresh each day vs. coming out of a plastic bag and simply being warned up. With that said, this location could really work on their service. Only once out of the 4 times I've been here have they gotten my order correct, and it's not like I'm ordering complicated things. This is without a doubt the worst Del Taco in the area! They always mess up your order or serve cold food. I only come here for my child, who enjoys their food. But whenever I try to order something for myself, it is always wrong or missing. They really need new management. I have experience working in restaurants, and I know things can get hectic, but there is no excuse for this level of incompetence. I hope new owners take over or the staff is completely replaced because this is unacceptable!
I waited in an empty drive-thru line for five minutes at 8:45 a.m., but nobody took my order. I then went into the restaurant and found only one other customer there. We both waited for five minutes, and the other customer mentioned that he hadn't seen anyone since he arrived. Eventually, we both decided to leave. Waiting for 10 minutes or more, with no one even acknowledging us, seemed excessive, especially considering any staff shortage. I ended up going across the street to Whataburger, where I was served right away.
My son got food poisoning from this place tonight. My car is in the shop so I ordered delivery thinking it would be quick and relatively affordable. It took an hr to receive and it was overpriced. My son only had a strawberry milkshake. He couldn't eat the fries because there was hair in them. Our order was incomplete and thank goodness because who knows what else was contaminated. I will be reporting this to the department of health, they need to check this place out. I won't be returning, this place is disgusting!
Got 3 piece tender box and my tenders were barely warm and the fries were rubbery. I usually have no issues but today just not good food.
