What Juan Suarez doesn't like about Cafe Rio Mexican Grill:
I visited this restaurant for the second time and once again, I was disappointed to find that only sodas were available. Both times I noticed that their flavored waters were out, including lemonade, horchata, hibiscus, and iced tea. Despite being there during lunch time on the weekend with a group of 6, the shift manager informed me that the waters would be out for the whole day. There was no indication before I paid... Despite this, the meat flavors are incredible.
Used to be great food. They've recently been rebranded and this was the first time I've eaten here since. I was not impressed. Although most items remain available on the menu, the flavor and quality has declined drastically and their prices have skyrocketed. Definitely not worth the cost.
I used to be able to count on a salad at this restaurant to be satisfying and filling, but unfortunately that was not the case tonight. I was disappointed with the portion sizes of the ingredients, especially considering the $15 price tag. The rice, meat, and even the lettuce were lacking in quality and quantity. I stopped going to Chipotle due to poor quality control, and I may now need to stop going to this restaurant as well. It's a shame.
This location was clean and super quick. I was impressed with the amount of food and flavor for my to-go order. The Fire Grilled Chicken salad is my favorite!

Despite being there during lunch time on the weekend with a group of 6, the shift manager informed me that the waters would be out for the whole day. There was no indication before I paid that these beverages were unavailable. It seems that this location only refills their drinks when they want to, not when the paying customer requests it. So be aware that you may not have access to a full beverage bar for the price you are paying.
