Skips Chicago Dogs - Avondale Estates

Came here with my husband for lunch on the weekday. It was busy but the line and service were fast and staff were very friendly and helpful! We ordered the chicago dog, fries, and corn dog. Everything came out hot and fresh and tasted great! Definitely come back again to try other things!

Skip's has some incredible tasting food!! I love the Chicago hotdogs, and they are so good. My buddy had the reuben sandwich and said it was delicious. Whenever I am close by, I try to pull in and eat, I live 45 minutes away, so it is always a great place to go since I don't get Skip's as often as I would like!!

Wanted to like this place but hit or miss on quality of food, incorrect order 4 of 8 visits over the past few months, customer service can be lacking, and for $11 burger onion rings, they shouldn't be charging an extra .81¢ for a thing of ranch dressing instead of ketchup. Don't think I'll be going back.

Place busy but very hard to get in an out.small parking.

I may be a bit biased as I’ve worked with Skip’s Catering team and the owners are close friends. I had the Reuben today and it absolutely melted in my mouth. Dogs, wings, cheesesteaks …the food quality is always consistent. Team members are friendly and professional, not to mention there are several who have worked here 10+ years (that’s a testament unto itself). I’ve sent several friends here, always with positive feedback afterward. Definitely a staple any time I’m in the area
