What User doesn't like about Veranda Bistro:
I was disappointed with the salad I had, but would be open to trying something else here again. The creamed corn was amazing and worth coming just for that! For the price of a salad with chicken, it was lacking flavor and I wouldn’t order again. Service was good and the waitress gave great drink recommendations. View all feedback.
The food was outstanding and the upstairs dining area was beautifully decorated! The chicken empanadas, feta dip, calamari, and chicken salad made for excellent appetizers. Here are my ratings: Food: 5, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 5. Overall, a delightful dinner experience!
The ceviche is incredible! For dinner, I dined in and found the experience delightful. The food deserves a solid 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere is a perfect 5! The price per person ranged from $20 to $30.

Although I’m not their most frequent customer, I've visited this restaurant a few times, and each time I've felt like a VIP. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and I would love to go more often, but there are so many great restaurants in the area that I have to be selective. During my last visit, I joked with the server about how I’ve been bragging about this place and hoped it wouldn’t be the one night they disappoint. Thankfully, it wasn’t; they even surprised us with complimentary dessert. A guy from the kitchen, who I later learned is the managing partner, came out to check if everything was satisfactory. Their outdoor dining area is wonderful, and I’m eager to return in the spring. Who knows, maybe we can even squeeze in one more outdoor meal before the weather turns!
This is another instance where a nice restaurant receives a four-star rating while a gas station might earn a five. I really enjoy the happy hour, the fantastic specials, and the delicious food. We particularly loved the snack-sized surf and turf! I took my husband there for his birthday, and it was our first time trying a full meal. He was pleased with his steak, and the seafood pasta was wonderful, but the service left much to be desired. We were seated at a tiny table, and although many dishes were being served, the empty plates were just left on the table. My husband even had to get up to find someone to refill our drinks. It was also uncomfortably cold, and I usually like it chilly, but not like this in a nicer restaurant. When we were leaving, the hostess asked how our experience was, and I shared all of this with her. She apologized and explained that it was the holiday season, and many people were hosting parties. However, it was my husband’s birthday! Just because we're not publicizing it doesn't mean it doesn't matter! She did offer us a $20 comp, but I’m not in a hurry to return.
