What Cat doesn't like about Tambo's Kitchen:
Update: After seeing the original owner's response and their dismissive attitude towards criticism, I'm revising my rating to a 1. They seemed to think that taking home leftovers meant we enjoyed the meal, which isn’t the case. I appreciate having an African restaurant close by so I don't have to go in to Boston anymore. The okra sauce with pounded yam poff poff are my favorites. I usually order take out. It's a good spot for satisfying my occasional cravings. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Recommended dishes: Bofrot, Okra Sauce Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot

I had the egusi soup, chicken, and mixed meats separately. I was not too impressed with the egusi (melon) soup. It was watery and not tasty. The chicken was regular chicken and not fowl so it was just meh! I did enjoy the fufu and mixed meats in the spicy sauce though. The location is convenient but I don't think I will eat from there again. Parking: Parking was ok Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50
