Quirky little pub with a nice atmosphere. Dinner was delicious, pork snitzel with gravy and slaw, and couldn’t fault. Limited menu but they had a specials board. Nice place to visit ! Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
What DPK doesn't like about The Avoca Hotel:
Great looking Old pub, the Parma was nice but it was definitely one of the smallest parmas I've ever been served at an Australian pub. Glad they serve Guinness on tap Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Chicken Parmigiana Parking space: Plenty of parking View all feedback.
Excellent food, good table service, friendly but professional staff, beautiful atmosphere and local wines, this is also a great place to enjoy a drink in the bar.

Close to $180 for 3 nets and a bottle of wine! service was bad, server are much too young and had no warning what they did! a pornstar was $49 for a handful of frozen frying, deep fried with a steak that wasn't so good and a few salat leaves with baby spinat leaves ran as salat? a few salat and baby spinat leaves is not an salat, it is salat leaves and baby spinat leaves! they would expect that if they order something on a menu that says it comes with an salat that there is actually an salat with gurke and wobbles and cherry tomats etc. and maybe some pine nuts! I was in the past and it was much better, but not impressed this visit!
Another delicious lunch alison ian. especially enjoyed the lamb cigar and the Vietnamese quail. thank you and we will see you again soon.
Great food, friendly service that welcomes us and us most. to clean our food outside, was water for the dog and cover for us, like a cold and rainy evening. highly recommended
