What a gem Hendley's is in the Vale of Avoca. My niece and I wandered in this afternoon, enticed by the tempting aroma of coffee while strolling through the village. We were greeted by a cheerful man whose friendly service made the experience even better. Nice, old-fashioned fish and chip shop. Enjoyed cod and chips, nice cup of tea. A great view of the river and staff very friendly. Have a large menu and prices are good. A beautiful trip for the day and a walk through this picturesque village

I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the fish and chips at this restaurant. It was a delightful surprise that was a perfect way to end a long walk in the surrounding area.
Best kebab I’ve had in a very long time, excellent service, very friendly staff. Would recommend!
