We stayed at this hotel because it was a quiet hotel on the outskirts of Avila with suitable walks in the countryside for our dog. The simply furnished, but adequate, bedrooms were on the ground floor with the restaurant on the level above. We ate both nights in the restaurant on the table d hotel (the cheap) menu. What Laia Ceballos doesn't like about Nuestra Senora De Sonsoles:
being generous, passable scrap. regular care, generate without alardes and very better details...raid hands! and finally, the one that presents itself as owner asking about it. View all feedback.
Excellent price ratio, friendly and close tray, homemade food and good product, spectacular paellas, everything is very good. besides being in a cool environment with beautiful views, highly recommended!
Look! We eat there 14 people!! And all very satisfied! None of us complaint! And that’s something as many of us are very picky gourmets! Idilic location, not a tourist trap, so not pretending fine restaurant bullsh_t. Own huge car park. Cheap, so don’t go for the daily offers. WINE MENU VERY SHORT!!! Maybe the best T-bone steak In Avila. But, ask for the 500gr size or onwards, and Insist in 3 fingers thick cut. Tempura veggies and asparagus are ok as appetiser, not gourmet but just ok. and their strudel is the best one I Tried! And I never liked the strudel till now!! That is something! Ok, so rate very good cause: cheap! Best Avila T-bone steak if you tell them don’t bring you rubbish! It’s Location is quiet and peaceful! Not a tourist trap like MANY in Avila! GENEROUS PORTIONS! And friendly renowned owner (see photos of the blonde bird). We will be back! I can recommend it 101%. BUT AWARE THEM IF THEY BRING WRONG STUFF YOU WILL REFUSE IT!
Very close to the medieval old town. Outstanding environment with some tables facing the church, and some facing the valley and the city walls. Fine cooking. Try the pisto . The seafood brochettes are of high quality, accompanied by fine, excellent sauces. Be sure not to skip the meats (chuleton de Avila Similar in taste to a T bone steak). The establishment is an old stone house right next to the church, within the gardens, with nice tree shade for the summer.

The simply furnished, but adequate, bedrooms were on the ground floor with the restaurant on the level above. We ate both nights in the restaurant on the table d hotel (the cheap) menu. The food was well prepared by the German chef (who had lived here for most of his adult life) and had regional influences. Breakfasts were hearty which I felt reflected the desire to give travellers sustinence for the day. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it as a base for visiting Avila if you want to be in the countryside away from the hustle and. Bustle of city life.
