Contribute Feedback What Antonida Elija doesn't like about Alavirulé:
Rude staff. Food was below average. Chef seems to like using a lot of salt and vinegar to disguise the poor (probably out of date) food quality. Also 15 euros for a menu is not exactly cheap, compared to other places in Ávila. Avoid this place! View all feedback.
Has a few good beer and a nice service!
My 4th time in ávila and second time in alavirulé. worth visiting!
Average tapas square, there are probably better bars/restaurants in the city
One of them outside the wall. reasonable prices compared to competitors. the lachs a la plancha is quite delicious. no bad place for a simple lunch.
Came here on a weekday, had two menus del dia and croquetas. Menus del dia included bean soup, pasta carbonara, churrasco and filete. The food was really very normal, with the first dishes being okay-ish and the churrasco being a bit chewy and the filete ****. The deserts were nothing special either, just your average menu-del-dia-deserts from everywhere. All in all: nicely located and nicely decorated, but food very average, don't expect to be blown away.
