This is the best restaurant in Belgrade. Hands down. The owner greets you at the door, serves you a drink in their living room and you can order while smoking a cigar and listening to 80s music. I've been to all the fancy schmenzi places around the world, but this one beats them all. True authentic hospitality and INCREDIBLE food. I will come back every week for a taste of homemade pasta. What Natalia Tikhanovskaya doesn't like about Salon 5:
We ordered a table via website and received a success confirmation, but when we went to the place it was just closed. It was a great disappointment, because it’s located far from the city center and our evening plans was totally ruined. It would be helpful if there were a note on website that restaurant is closed or someone could call us back and notify about that. Totally inappropriate : View all feedback.
For some reason there is some funny dude making this look like a hotel and on the wrong location. Pleased don't be fooled by That. It's my second time here and it only keeps getting better, now by the Command of Angela, the chef with her limitless energy and outrageous food quality. The atmosphere of the place with that amazing living room, makes you feel at home and never wanna leave. Thank you for everything, we will never forget it.
The best fine dining restaurant in Serbia! Hands down. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
Amazing experience! I had the honor of attending the opening of the restaurant. The atmosphere is both unique and welcoming. The lounge has a speak-easy feel that makes you feel like you are in someone's house. Once you enter the dinning rooms you enter into a more elegant yet still welcoming environment. The service is friendly and personable which is something I hope to see in more fine dining restaurants. The food is very elegant and taste amazing. I had the tasting menu with the wine pairing. It was nice to see some very interesting Serbian grade varieties and producers making up the majority of the wine list. Anđela, the Head Chef, is very creative and passionate in her approach to cuisine. She has spent time all around Europe learning about food and perfecting her skills. Most notably she spent time in Italy apprenticing under the world famous, 3 Michelin Star Chef, Massimo Bottura at Osteria Francescana. You can see this influence come through her food and story telling. She is bringing a modern cuisine to Belgrade which is refreshing to see and which is something Serbia needs. I would honestly say, the future of the food seen in Serbia is going to be driven by this young talented chef and hopefully a presence in a future Michelin Guide. Definitely worth eating here! You can't say you have experienced the Belgrade food scene if you haven't eaten here. I can't wait to see what Chef Anđela Risimić has in store for the future of this restaurant on my next visit.
Staff is friendly, and the food is incredible and an overall great experience! It's definitely worth the visit. Service: 5
Brilliant! We had a dinner at this very stylish restaurant on a Saturday late afternoon. Our dinner was an easy five stars across the board! Amazing food with wonderful team all wrapped up in an opulent oasis of calm only minutes from Danube river. Service was so kind and attentive, they definitely elevated the experience for us! Huge recommendation : Service: Dine in
