The restaurant itself is set in the gardens at the front of the old hotel. It's quite charming in a rustic, dishevelled kind of way. The food was very nice without really being great. I had hoped to be more impressed. The portions were big enough, but there was nothing very special about the meals. The service was not very friendly or helpful I'm sorry to say. We wouldn't go back. It is very good, welcoming staff, good meals, large parking next to. but eating in the wind of the valley of the rhône under the immense plane trees, it is very unpleasant, so not for me. Too bad the corner is bucolic on an island in the middle of the hike. View all feedback.
First, eating is very good, and the presentation is great. the people are also very nice. there are 2 dings that do not give me this place 5 stars: there is a children's menu, but it is not advertised anywhere, and it is basic (so do not advise this restaurant with children); the menu / order on the website is not the one we found when we arrived. everything was good, we didn't complain, but maybe the owner should give a little more effort to update the website.
This is really a hidden gem. it's about eating. jean michell an escoffier trained chef and his wife veronique and all wonderful employees will feel like home. we were four nights there and had dinner there every night, because it won't be wise to do anything else.
At a very quiet location a beautiful old fashon building near the river, we appreciate the hospitality and the confort. good quality of the breakfast. I suggest visiting avignon. thanks to the owners.
All! beautiful spacious room, beautifully decorated. fantastic restaurant, possibility of one of the best meal times I've had for a long time and we were lucky to be able to eat outside. very friendly staff. very nice breakfast. a truly unforgettable stay. would definitely recommend.
