I saw some pretty negative reviews regarding The Chippy but as it was the nearest fish chip shop to where I was staying, decided to try it. Firstly, the shop was immaculate. Secondly, greeted very nicely by the staff behind the counter when placing...my order. Could've had a game of cricket with the battered haddock, even used it as a spanking paddle if u so wished, it was so overcooked. Maybe just a bad day, it happens. The 30% fish to 70% batter ratio was actually more disappointing tbh. The chips were tasty View all feedback.
