Costa Coffee - Aviemore

The restaurant is fully open and operating as of September 23, 2023, despite Google Maps indicating that it is temporarily closed. I have to say, one of the best baristas I’ve encountered at a Costa so far is here, and I’ve attached some pictures of the flat whites I ordered. The staff is incredibly friendly, and I truly enjoyed my time at the café. However, on my second visit, they mixed up my orders—my 'flat white' and 'decaf flat white with an extra espresso shot.' They may want to consider improving their order system by printing and sharing receipts or providing written instructions between baristas instead of relying solely on verbal communication. Overall, you get what you expect from a Costa, and in this case, it's a positive experience!

Opened on October 3rd, 2023. It's a nice standard Costa, but the downside was that the restroom was out of order and was not functioning throughout the entire complex.

Hot day and with my two Bernese dogs, needing a coffee before another 2 hour drive. Coffee was great, but the staff were even better, as they took care of the dogs so I could pop in and pay and they brought them a big bowel of iced water. Thanks

We visited with a group of 16 for a quick lunch and needed to sit indoors because it was pouring rain. Although our large group seemed to fluster the staff a bit, we were all able to find something to eat and a seat fairly quickly. The young woman heating up the toasties was fantastic—she was energetic and efficient, ensuring everything was heated and served nicely. On the downside, the coffee machine was quite messy, with milk and coffee scattered everywhere. But perhaps keeping a clean coffee machine is more of an Italian concern.

Staff swearing in front of me and a can’t be bothered attitude. Toilets had **** everywhere. Grim.
