Came in the afternoon to grab lunch with the family and it was super busy. The owner was sitting at one of the tables. He got up from the table and gave it to us, in order that we can sit inside with our kids. The food itself was amazing as usual.Kid-friendliness: Had high chairs, and great kids menu View all feedback.
What Marko Gerbitz doesn't like about Levy’s Shawarma:
The chicken/lamb shawarma is mostly chicken and doesnt taste very exciting. The israeli salad isnt bad. The guy making the pita was kinda rude, had headphones in the whole time and could barely hear me and I could barely hear him. Maybe if he had heard me order the lamb shawarma he could have told me it isnt just lamb but a mix with chicken (my mistake). Also when asking about the salad bar he said its all on the men... Food was really good! Service was spot on and the atmosphere was welcoming.
My wife Joann and I ate here at Levy Shawarmas in Aventura for lunch. The staff was friendly from the moment we walked in.I had the Shawarma Pita which was amazingly filled with juicy lamb, chicken and tender with a salad bar of so many toppings to choose from.My wife had the Shawarma Pita with Juicy beef, tiny chunky pieces and the salad for toppings as well. They have a chocolate flavorful Babka OMG delish.I would highly recommend this place to eat .Parking: Hue parking lot.
Food was subpar and tasted like charcoal. Food was EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. Flies everywhere and kitchen was soiled. My friend, who we took out for his birthday, had his money declined because the bill “was too old” (in the words of the owner), even though we were able to use the money else where. Service staff also barely spoke English, and the service was rushed and impolite. Many of the kitchen staff didn’t wear gloves or wore gloves and handled papers and other dirty items (defeating the purpose of the gloves).
The food is of excellent quality and is authentically prepared, even surpassing that of some establishments in Israel. The servers and cooks are also very polite.
I visited in the afternoon for lunch with my family, and the place was bustling with activity. The owner was seated at one of the tables, but he graciously got up to offer us his table so we could sit inside with our kids. As always, the food was fantastic. As for kid-friendliness, they provided high chairs and had a wonderful kids' menu.
