I ordered fish and chips from The Vale, and my experience was quite inconsistent. Sometimes they serve terrible fish and chips, while other times it’s fantastic. Tonight, we ordered $8 worth of chips, but they looked more like $4 worth—very disappointing. On the bright side, the fish was fresh for a change! View all feedback.

I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that they have hake and even more so by the quality. The staff is very friendly which is always a plus. I enjoyed the fish and will be back soon! Thank you

The best fish and chips I've ever had! The chips are cooked to perfection every time with just the right amount of crunch. The fish is delicious—it's not oily or soggy and is fried in clean oil that doesn't make the food greasy. The chicken nuggets and onion rings are huge and definitely worth trying. If you're feeding a family of six, I recommend getting about $8 worth of chips. Service was for takeout, and it made for a great dinner!
