I have been here twice and there was this one waiter who was being a jerk. He ignores and disses off what you want to order by trying to upsell. It is a family owned restaurant and I think they are good otherwise View all feedback. What Soraia Valente likes about Restaurante O Garfo:
Good food, but they charge for absolutely everything. Even the tiny packet of butter costs nearly 1€! Never seen a restaurant charge for that. We will not go back. View all feedback.

A good place for a quick meal. Nothing fancy but it was ok for a quick lunch.
Beautiful authentic Portuguese grilled fish
Mouthwater calf meat, kartoffel and rice. wein is amazing. very traditional family-run Portuguese restaurant. highly recommended!
Great food and great service. if they are in aveiro, they have to come to lunch here. highly recommended.
Good value for money. taste "bacalhau com natas" (cod fish) or "Vitela assada" (meat.)
