Aveiro is fam... read more A great place for local sweets and treats.We met Marta and her husband Jose who gave us plenty of help in what local Portuguese sweets were about. Aveiro is famous for Ovo Moles, a tasty bite made with light pastry and eggs and Marta and Jose have a good selection of these as well as a variety of other treats as well as ice cream which are all included in their menu in a variety of options. All in all, discovering their shop and their friendship made for a great visit to Aveiro.

We have ordered 1 ovo, by the way delicious, a cappuccino with soy milk (which I find places that put soy milk or lactose-free), a coffee with milk and 1 crepe. And since the ovos were so good I bought a box. The place is great for lunch.
