During a stop downstream we crossed the road of this restaurant walking in the city. The prices and the dishes offered convinced us to take a table one noon of the month of August. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the products and especially the attentive and available service. Don’t hesitate and enjoy the sun rays on the outside.
A few days to discover the village and the morvan. I'm promised typical dishes, but as we go through our journey, I can't find the flavors...At manu there is not only the taste, but there is also soul, and an undeniable knowledge. we took eggs meurettes, burgundy beef and wine pear (except menu but the chef kindly agreed to make me) . a pleasure to sauce all the way to the end, a pity that licking his plate is badly seen!So thank you for having me taste the burgundy! I had lunch after consulting a guide known in this house or the chef/Patron after great health care took over the house in hand. the latter worked in known stars in the region and elsewhere. greedy meurette eggs or the wine was well reduced, tasteful and nicely cooked garnish, more classic but cooked chicken dish as needed without excess. choice of wines with glass. prices are very reasonable 4,50€ the egg, 9€ the cod, from chablis to 4€ the glass and coffee to 2€ the service is made by a young man present at the tables. a table that respects the client.
Passing through the region and sleeping here in the region, we came down here at swallowon x for dinner. We are inspired by the place and we try it.A little strait, we settle and we take an entrance of the day, purée of tomatoes and salad, then a cocotte with wine cooked beef, simple but good accompaniment. Not abundant portions. wine map with prices that rise up, as well as water.I don't understand the region where we are.
From crossing to downstream, we discover by chance this restaurant place of the market. .who does not draw our attention to the first damage. .!(It could be of 3 coloured parasols on the outside tables to give the urge to consult the short card and to stop ). small price for a meal on the frog road. excellent salad with frog thighs and crayfish my husband had chosen a gougère with snails in meurette and salad. to follow, a very tender paved with rumsteck sauce with a pear and pear poached with wine accompanied by a ball of ice in the cassis. .the all accompanied by a glass of chablis. We've been regaled. very courteous service. only (small) reproaches the vegetables of the dish that had been a little hot while waiting to go to the table! We'll be back.
