The name L'Escale lowly translated is Stopover. If you found the restaurant you would want to stop. Just over the Iron bridge on the right is a very pleasant place to eat. This restaurant is well off the tourist track and only found by chance. We chose the set menu and enjoyed an excellent, tasty lunch for Euros 12.50 L'Escale is a family-run place that caters mainly at lunchtime for local workers and tradesmen, as shown by the row of white vans in the car park. Workers expect a good meal, served very quickly, at a fair price, and that's what we got. It was so good that we returned for Sunday lunch, more excellent food but served to a quite different crowd of locals. The ex-pats and townies have obviously discovered the place. No frills, no fancy stuff - clean and tidy but don't expect smart silver service. Great value and well worth a visit to taste real French cuisine.

Small family/open restaurant. All right. Friendly staff we eat well with a good curvature and a unique menu. I recommend

Restaurant not to be missed to taste the specialties of the omelette of terroir with grapes, garbide, foie gras. Very copyy, delicious. Serve on top, effective linen to be recommended for your family meetings.
