I recently had lunch at this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised that it was not very busy. We all ordered the beer-battered fish and it was both delicious and cooked perfectly. It was also convenient that they are licensed if you want to enjoy a beer or a glass of wine with your meal. View all feedback.
What Demond O'Hara doesn't like about Henk's Cafe:
Ordered fish and chips for myself and my little one to share. Took one bite of my fish and it was disgusting mush, a friend tasted some too and said the same. I talked to wait staff who took my plate back to the kitchen...More View all feedback.
I found Henks atmospheric very nice, the staff pleasent, and the estuary veiws delightful.. Sadly since i was there Henks has closed and a new cafe is going up, i think it will be a lisenced one.
Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. Staff can be up & down as well. Generally better than not, though

Good, but not great and a bit pricey for what it is, although the location is fantastic... right across the road from the Leschenault Inlet, you can sit and have a chat while the sun sparkles on the water ... Cosy and intimate and staff nice enough, but not overly friendly. Food is ok but i've never really had anything substantial ... just cuppa basically. I do hear the brekkie is good from friends.
Great breakfast. Good service. Well priced. Definitely worth a return visit. The outdoor setting was pleasant. Not a great view of the car park but the atmosphere was pleasant.
