Was Anonym at Max's a mag?
Came here recently for a birthday and we absolutely loved the place. The food here is second to none and the view is just amazing. The wine selection is fantastic and are paired very well with the food. What Anonym dislikes about Max's:
It must be incredibly gratifying to create exquisite wine. I can envision that the next endeavor would involve opening a remarkable restaurant with top-notch service to showcase that wine. Unfortunately, this is not the case at Max's. The restaurant is overpriced, the service is mediocre, and the lamb was burned. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience. The service was nice and the food was amazing. I can not get the experience, the food or people. The views would be better during a lunch or if there is a daylight. Definitely go back.
The food here was delicious and the wines not too shabby! My favorite, however, was the cheese plate I had to dessert, who totally shook my world! A nice little find!
Terrible, disinterested service. The food was far below the average and expensive - pay attention to the white rice and mango dessert. There are so many better places to eat in the red hill than this. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
The meal we were served was surprisingly different from what was advertised on the menu, it felt like we were given leftovers from a previous meal. When I inquired about the discrepancy, I was informed that there was a new chef in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the overall dining experience left much to be desired.
