Good picking snacks and fresh beer from the tap.

Living in the area I often visit the Story Bridge Hotel, but I don’t always eat there. Generally, my activities involve beverages. I ordered the shellfish linguine with prawns, scallops and a white wine sauce. It was okay. Probably shouldn’t have ordered Italian at a bar but it struck my fancy. The sauce was average and the scallops overcooked. More on the seafood and less on the pasta would have been ideal.

Shelter is a reliable sat/sun arvo chill place to have a few... Good selection of drinks and truly apt sharing menu. Old school kilpatrick oysters always good. If you don't want to get amongst a dense crowd avoid the evening weekend services.

We've been here for brekky a couple of times now and it's always pretty good. The bread is freshly made and tastes awesome. I regularly order a dish with Main St Bacon which is great for the taste buds on a Sunday morning. I love the decor of the whole place and no doubt will become a regular brekky joint

Nice pizza! The menu was quite limited as there weren't many meat free options. I decided on the king prawn wrap as it was wrapped in lettuce leaves and sounded light and healthy. My eating partners both chose pizza. Theirs arrived first and looked pretty good. Then, a third pizza arrived a prawn pizza. Somehow they got my order wrong but the waitress took off so fast I didn't have a chance to say anything. I decided to keep the pizza as it looked good and I didn't want to wait all over again. The pizza also had fresh chilli and a sprinkling of rocket on top. I really enjoyed it. Service was very average. We had to hunt for someone to ask for napkins. No cutlery was offered. A bit more care from the staff would create a much better atmosphere.
