fantastic pub, especially for those with Coeliac disease. they have a dedicated gluten-free preparation area in their kitchen. my wife could have her first chicken parma in a pub in her life, it was delicious and not more expensive than a normal. we will definitely return to try more Gf dishes. great service, location and dog friendly beer garden also. the food was not good, it was expensive and, the meal was missing maic kartoffel, where it was said it came with him when I asked after a pot of kartoffel, the woman in the kitchen beat it up and screamed me to order it the next time....not my fault was not on the teller and we wont be back! room: 1/5 service: 1/5 location: 2/5 View all feedback.
We were advised this was the best pub in town, well the 4 of use dined there last night and certainly weren’t disappointed, friendly efficient service, great selection on the menu, the meals were all delicious, quite large and certainly good value, if you are visiting Rochester we throughly recommend this family hotel, you won’t be disappointed. A great little town pub. Very friendly staff and locals were very welcoming. Food was delicious. I had the steak with mushroom gravy. SOOOOOO yum. Atmosphere was very welcoming. Safety: The staff put up safety words for females in the toilet in case we needed help. I loved that. Food drinks: Drinks were reasonably priced. Food was fresh and delicious. Rooms: 5
Orderd a med rare steak. Got a med rare steak. Could have cut it with the side of my fork. Just fantastic. Hats off to the chef Service: 5
