We were advised this was the best pub in town, well the 4 of use dined there last night and certainly weren’t disappointed, friendly efficient service, great selection on the menu, the meals were all delicious, quite large and certainly good value, if you are visiting Rochester we throughly recommend this family hotel, you won’t be disappointed. Such a layed back country pub, the meals here are fantastic, well priced , if we where staying another night I would return for dinner Service: 5 Location: 5
A great little town pub. Very friendly staff and locals were very welcoming. Food was delicious. I had the steak with mushroom gravy. SOOOOOO yum. Atmosphere was very welcoming. Safety: The staff put up safety words for females in the toilet in case we needed help. I loved that. Food drinks: Drinks were reasonably priced. Food was fresh and delicious. Rooms: 5
Orderd a med rare steak. Got a med rare steak. Could have cut it with the side of my fork. Just fantastic. Hats off to the chef Service: 5
