I'm not sure why someone ment... read more In my opinion, the bakery on 15th Avenue, located next to the Italian butcher shop and mower shop, is one of the best in the area. I'm not sure why someone mentioned that a pie costs $19, as from what I remember they are around $6.50 each, or about $8 for a variety of flavors when purchased early in the day. Personally, I prefer the pastries at the bakery on Camden Main Street and the cakes at the butcher shop in Casula Shopping Center. However, everyone has their own preferences. I take my desserts seriously, so I decided to order a frozen crimp and heeled top from Tasmania.

It was 6:15 in the morning and after I had been driving for around 1;5 hours and in desperate need of a good coffee I stumbled upon Pie and Co Bakehouse on the... read more It was 6:15 in the morning and after I had been driving for around 1;5 hours and in desperate need of a good coffee I stumbled upon Pie and Co Bakehouse on the corner of Fifteenth Ave and Edmondson Rd West Hoxton. A brightsign in...the front window saying open and a sandwich board out the front I parked my car and entered the cafe I was greeted by a nice young man {who I think was the owner} and my coffee order given what happened next was a case of not being able to resist temptation, a look into the massive pie cabinet, the aroma, and a menu saying steak and chilli pie I could not resist I had to have one, and right from the first bite I wasn't sorry, real steak, firm gravy, real chilli,a firm base, hot but not too hot and real flavoursome I will be back next time I find my self in the West Hoxton area
