Pie&Co Bakehouse - AUSTRAL

A standard beef pie for $19. No frills....nothing. Just an average pie. They're allowed to charge what they want. I'm now aware to eat elsewhere.

I go here on an almost daily basis. Wouldn't get coffee anywhere else. They have a large selection of pastries pies and sausage rolls. Check it out!!!

Stopped in to take the hunger away, went in, nothing much on order, waited for service (i was the only one in there) the service didn't know what was what. I settled on a sussage role (i was wanting a pie)

I love pies and had heard good reports about the Pie & Co Bakehouse Hoxton Park so why not try it while we're out this way. Very disappointed. Meat and gravy was very sloppy particularly in the curry beef pie. The sausage roll was very ordinary and for $4.50 I expected premium product. At $17.50 for two pies & a sausage roll to take away we won't be back. This is my first negative review as I just don't bother reviewing a place or product that are just ordinary. This experience was disappointing, little flavour, sloppy pies and overpriced.

It was 6:15 in the morning and after I had been driving for around 1;5 hours and in desperate need of a good coffee I stumbled upon Pie and Co Bakehouse on the corner of Fifteenth Ave and Edmondson Rd West Hoxton. A brightsign in the front window saying open and a sandwich board out the front I parked my car and entered the cafe I was greeted by a nice young man {who I think was the owner} and my coffee order given what happened next was a case of not being able to resist temptation, a look into the massive pie cabinet, the aroma, and a menu saying steak and chilli pie I could not resist I had to have one, and right from the first bite I wasn't sorry, real steak, firm gravy, real chilli,a firm base, hot but not too hot and real flavoursome I will be back next time I find my self in the West Hoxton area
